Albanian Center for Environmental Protection andSustainable Development (ACEPSD) successfully concluded its final piloting activities in the Bay of Vlora, marking an important step in the practical implementation and visibility of the project’s innovative aquaculture approach.
During this phase, ITMA units were fully operational and systematic measurements were conducted to collect performance and environmental data under real farming conditions.

To clearly distinguish the experimental set-up,roll-up panels were installed on site, identifying the different production units, including the IMTA (Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture) systems and the control units. This improved both the organization of the pilot area and the communication of the project’s methodology to visitors and stakeholders.

In addition, a poster presenting the preliminaryanalyses and early results of the piloting activities was produced and permanently displayed on the wall of the Alb-Adriatico 2013 Ltd building within the company’s farm. This visual material supports knowledge sharing and enhances the visibility of the project outcomes.

Overall, these final piloting activitiesstrengthened collaboration between ACEPSD and the hosting company, while demonstrating the practical applicability of sustainable aquaculture solutions in the environmental and socio-economic context of the Vlora Bay.
